The more services you have the more it will cost you but it will definitely be much cheaper than the regular phone companies.
The VoIP providers will have different services set up for individual use, small business use and even large companies. They will even offer you the hardware devices, inbound and outbound termination, soft phones and a bundling of these services. They will only provide this for certain packages that they offer. Individuals usually dont need all of this. It is typically for the businesses.
Depending on the VoIP services that you choose you may also be able to have access to 911 emergency services. Most of the providers will have a VoIP service that you can get where you will have access to the 911 service should you ever need it.
Most of these providers will offer you unlimited international calls but it will all depend on the country that you are calling. Most of the services that you can get will be offered on a monthly rate. This is the same as typical phone companies but it is usually a lot cheaper.
Before you choose any VoIP services you need to make sure that you check out the providers and what they can offer you. You dont want to just sign up with the first provider that you find. You want to look at each provider and learn all you can about the VoIP service that they can offer you. This way you can get exactly what you need for a good price.
