Besides, you will also need a VoIP phone and VoIP adapter called ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapter). VoIP phones are much alike your traditional telephone, but they are connected to network port on your router or hub. Usually, a VoIP phone will have features like caller ID, caller waiting, repeat dialing, return call, three-way dialing, etc which are provided by VoIP service provider.
If you have made your decision to avail the VoIP phone service, the next you need to do is to buy an appropriate telephone equipment. Saving money while buying VoIP phones is not an good idea. As, it is newly arrived technology, so the market is flooded with numerous of updated versions of phones; it is advisable that you buy the latest one.
